"Papa Legba, ouvrier barriere por moi passer.."
Inspiried by the vodun Loa Papa Legba. Seems to be one of the many inspirations I've been getting lately. I really liked the way he turned out, though I have no idea if drumming is associated so closely with him. It just felt right. This is a canvas board, acrylic and watercolor painting. Likely he will come with me to Peterborough this weekend. I will be vending at the Festival of Lights. Wish me luck! [link] |
